LIFE Africa, Linus Idahosa Foundation for Empowerment, we are a non-governmental organization dedicated to making a meaningful impact through strategic vocational education initiatives and developmental programs, thereby improving people’s lives and communities all over the African continent. We improve the lives of individuals and communities in Africa through vocational education and business empowerment programs which bridge the developmental gaps that exist for young people. We also create the opportunities for marginalized groups with primary focus on young Orphans, Widows and Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) ensuring their inclusion, economic growth, spiritual development, and human dignity:
LIFE Africa founded by Mr. Linus Idahosa, an African philanthropist, visionary thought leader, and entrepreneur on the conviction that everyone deserves access to necessities like education, healthcare, and shelter. One of the pilot programs is The Re-Skill Africa Programme which will be launched by the LIFE Foundation with the assistance of numerous domestic and international partners to close the gap between technical and vocational skill-driven innovation and upscaling for commercialization through entrepreneurship.

In Africa, business and vocational development are key drivers of economic transformation and sustainable growth. Entrepreneurship is being actively promoted, with support from governments and organizations, through access to finance, mentorship programs, and policy reforms. Vocational training and skill development programs are being revamped to align with industry needs and promote employability. Women’s empowerment and gender equality are prioritized, and initiatives are underway to support women entrepreneurs and address barriers to their participation. Access to finance, including microcredit and fintech solutions, is being improved. Public-private partnerships and foreign investments are crucial for mobilizing resources, knowledge transfer, and fostering an enabling environment for businesses.
